THE KIDDERMINSTER KILLER AND CLEE TO HEAVEN AUDAXES: 17th AUGUST.
The (in)famous Kidderminster Killer will be taking place on 17th August alongside it's little brother, From Clee to Heaven. Both events provide challenging but scenic rides into Shropshire.
1. The Kidderminster Killer at 215km ventures across the Shropshire Hills to Montgomeryshire and back, taking in some 3,750m of quite punishing climbs. But the event is a classic with 25 years of history and loyal following. Remember to bring your lights!
2. From Clee to Heaven is less not so toughbut still takes in 2,000m of ascent along a rewarding circuit around the Clee Hills.

GoRide starts Friday 19th April 2013
Our weekly Go-Ride sessions will start on Friday 19th April at 7-00pm at the Stourport track behind the sportscentre. The sessions are for young riders who would like to improve their riding skills and confidence in a safe and fun environment by our trained coaches. The session are open to all but riders must have a cycle in good working order and must wear a helmet. The sessions last approximately one hour and cost £1 for members and £3 for non-members. Newport Nocturne
The Newport Nocturne takes place in Newport Shropshire High Street on Saturday 1st September. See www.bikerace.co.uk.
In the men’s event Team GB Olympic gold medal winner in the Team Pursuit, Ed Clancy, has entered.Clancy, who also won bronze in the Omnium, one of the six entrants from Team Rapha Condor-Sharp. Wolverhampton rider and Team GB member.
Andy Tennant, also rides for Team Rapha-Condor-Sharp. With 54 entries some of the other teams are, Node4 Giordana, Raleigh GAC, Endura Racing, Team Hope Factory, and Cycle Premier Kovert.
Amendment to the planned events that form the 2012 Midlands SPOCO
There is an amendment to the planned events that form the 2012 Midlands SPOCO series:The Birmingham University hill-climbs will not be a counting event
The VC Sevale K46/10 on Sept 22nd will be a counting event in its place

Wyre Forest CRC Goride Racing Games 2012
Wyre Forest CRC will be promoting The Goride Racing Games for U16 novice riders on Saturday 11th August at the Stourport track. Racing will consist of a time trial and bunch racing for any young racers with U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 age catagories.
These races are aimed at novice riders with little of no racing experience and are an ideal introduction into competitve racing.
Entry is on the line from 8-30am and warm up from 9-00am and racing will start at 9-30am until 12-00 noon.
Entry fee is £3-00 per rider and riders must bring a cycle in good working order and must wear a helmet. Parental consent is required with forms available at the signing on.
