Club Trophy Rules & Qualification
1 - Best All Rounder Shield: Rider, of any age, must produce result sheets with best performance each season at 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles in open CTT events. The rider’s speed will be calculated at each distance and averaged over the four qualifying distances.
2 - Ladies Best All Rounder Shield: As 1.
3 - Veterans Best All Rounder Cup: Conditions and distances as 1 but performances calculated on age standard.
4 - Junior Best All Rounder Plate: Rider must produce result sheets with two fastest performances each season at 10 and 25 miles in open CTT events. The rider’s speed will be calculated at each distance and averaged over the four qualifying rides.
5 - Intermediate TT Championship (Under 23): The Club has no trophy for this championship but to qualify a rider must produce result sheets with best performances each season at 10, 25 and 50 miles in open CTT events. The rider’s speed will be calculated at each distance and averaged over three three qualifying distances. Eligibility from 18 th birthday to end of season in which their 23 rd birthday occurs.
6 - Ladies Intermediate TT Championship Trophy: As 5 but with no age restriction.
7 - Short Distance B.A.R. Shield: To qualify, riders to complete two rides at each distance of 10, 25 and 50 miles in open CTT events and produce result sheets for same. Club 10 mile events may be counted as a qualifying ride. Championship to be decided on aggregate time over the six qualifying events.
8 - Road Race Championship Shield: To be decided on the basis of six points for first place reducing to one point for sixth place in any British Cycling event.
9 - Veteran Road Race Trophy: To be decided on the basis of six points for first place reducing to one point for sixth in any veteran road race.
10 - Cyclo Cross Championship Shield: To be decided on points gained as for the road race championship, in any British Cycling event..
11 - Veteran Cyclo Cross Shield: To be decided on points gained as for the road race championship, in any British Cycling event. Medals to be awarded to the winners of the various veteran age groups as specified by British Cycling.
12 - Junior Cyclo Cross Cup ( on loan from S. Staffs CA): As for club cyclo cross championship.
13 - Juvenile Cyclo Cross Shield: As for the club cyclo cross championship.
14 - Club Hill Climb Championship Cup for the Crescent Wheelers Memorial Trophy: Awarded to the winner of the club hill climb. A suitable award will be made to the first lady.
15 - Club Time Trials Scratch Championship Cup: Awarded to the rider gaining most points in club events. A suitable award will be made to the first lady.
16 - Club Time Trial Handicap Cup: Awarded to the rider gaining most points on handicap in club events.
17 - Club Time Trial Veteran on Standard Trophy: Awarded to the rider gaining most points on age standard in club events.
18 - Club Juvenile Track Cup: Awarded to the rider gaining most points in track events.
19 - Club Track Championship Cup (on loan from S. Staffs CA): Awarded to the rider gaining most points in track events.
20 - Club 10 miles TT Championship Shield: Awarded to the winner of a designated event.
21 - Club 25 miles TT Championship Shield (on loan from S. Staffs CA): Awarded to the winner of a designated event.
22 - Club 50 miles TT Championship Shield (on loan from S. Staffs CA): Awarded to the winner of a designated event.
